The Government of Namibia has prepared performance contracts to be signed by all ministers, as Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila announced earlier this week.
Since Performance Management has become the central concept of nowadays’ business productivity, entrepreneurs, professionals and analysts are gathered and connected by innovative tools and techniques which are meant to achieve not only organizational productivity, but also operational, personal and individual growth. Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are entities where there is no governmental participation. Their performance broadly means how well they contribute to other people’s efforts to improve the society. Due to the continuous development of the NGO’s, it appeared the need to appraise the performance, in order to assure evolution.
Ramakrishna Krovvidi, Senior Vice-President of DU UAE, presented a case study on the challenges faced by the company when putting in place aspects such as pay for performance, as well as broader concepts such as developing a performance culture and ensuring alignment between individual and strategic level.
