The PERFORMANCE Magazine editorial team attended the PMA 2014 Conference and gained rich insights regarding Performance Management at all levels from both academics and practitioners in the field. One of the interviewed academics is Cory Searcy, Associate Professor and Director of the Industrial Engineering Program at Ryerson University, Canada.
Another presentation delivered by Rick Edgeman, Professor of Sustainability & Performance at the Interdisciplinary Center for Organizational Architecture (ICOA), Aarhus University of Denmark in the second day of the PMA 2014 Conference was named “Survive & Thrive: Sustainable Enterprise Excellence, Resilience and Robustness SEER2”.
The series of parallel sessions of the second day was opened with the presentation “Measuring social issues in sustainable supply chains”, brought by PhD candidate Payman Ahi, of the University of Toronto and Cory Searcy, Associate Professor and Director of the Industrial Engineering Program at Ryerson University.
The second day of the PMA 2014 Conference provided participants with another presentation dedicated to sustainability: “Corporate Sustainability Reports in the Apparel Industry. An Analysis of Reported Indicators”, and held by Anika Kozlowski, PhD Student, Michal Bardecki, Director Graduate Programs in Environmental Applied Science and Management and Cory Searcy, Associate Professor, Associate Chair, Program Director of Industrial Engineering Program, Ryerson University.
Another presentation allotted to sustainability was provided on the second day of the PMA 2014 Conference by Postdoc. Thomas Kjærgaard, from the Aarhus University.
