The study had 553 respondents from around the world, across a wide range industries, countries and organizations.
Green Bay saves money by going green with green fonts
An excellent example of going green and saving money is provided by the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay. In order to reduce campus printing costs, their Computing and Information Technology Department had the initiative to change their preferred font from the most commonly used one – Arial to the Century Gothic font.

According to a new press release from Statistics Netherlands, “in the period 1997–2007 real expenditure by subsidized educational institutes increased by 9 billion euro, from 20 to 29 billion euro. Some 3.2 billion euro can be attributed to changes in demography and participation in education, and 5.8 billion euro to increased spending per participant” (Statistics Netherlands, 2010).
